Congratulations - New CPPB Designees!!

UPPCC has announced the newest desginees of CPPB and CPPO Certifications from the May 2018 Class and two of our ETPA members are recipients! Please join us in congratulating Jolene Combs (Johnson City) and Deidre Moore-Keylon (City of Chattanooga) for obtaining their CPPB Certification. Obtaining certification helps both our members, agencies, and profession. Per NIGP, 74% of managers say they are more likely to hire a certified individual and certification helps build the credibility of our profession. Way to go Jolene and Deidre - congratulations from ETPA!!!

2018 NIGP's 2018 Volunteer Award Recipient - Lynn Farnham

Please join us in congratulating our ETPA Treasurer Lynn Farnham, Roane County Purchasing Agent, in being chosen as NIGP's 2018 Volunteer of the Year! As you all know, Lynn is truly one of our most dedicated VOLUNTEERS, always willing to help in not just ETPA but also TAPP and NIGP. ETPA recognized her efforts by awarding her the 2017 Volunteer of the Year award and we're pleased that NIGP's Talent Council agrees with us on believing Lynn should be recognized!

Lynn will receive the Volunteer Award at this year's NIGP Forum in Nashville on Wednesday morning during the 10:00 Plenary Session. NIGP will reserve three tables for us near the stage so those of you attending, please join us that morning to cheer Lynn and hopefully, we'll get to hear Rocky Top played at Forum for the second year in a row - way to go Lynn!!
